Will it fit you?,
November 29, 2008

By&nbsp,Kuradi Eit PA, USA See all my reviews

Menstrual Cups are WONDERFUL! But they aren’t “one size fits all.” if small or big, Diva Cups are the longest cups on the market at 57mm so most likely will not fit those with short vaginal canals or those whose cervix drops low throughout their periods.

There are eight different brands of cups and they’re all different sizes and shapes. Research Menstrual Cups to make an educated guess as to which one may fit you best before you purchase one so you do not waste your time and money on a cup that’s the wrong size. A useful site is menstrualcupsthe And there are size comparison charts at community.Livejournal.Com/menstrual_cups/1285963.Html

So useful, so comfortable it changed my life.,

I have been using a Keeper, the rubber original variant of this device, for almost three years. It is changed my life for the better by convenience and comfort. The only reason I bought a Diva Cup is because I lost the Keeper while travelling. Otherwise, I believe it could lasted for a lifetime as advertised. D’oh.

And losing the Diva Cup or Keeper is really the only problem you will face after you firstly learn to use the product It’s easy, and there’s a useful brochure with diagrams included with the Diva Cup. Now that I have used the Diva Cup, I can say that I favor it somewhat to the Keeper for two reasons: 1 the silicone Diva Cup does not make squeaking noises when I am trying to put it, which is an embarassing tendency of the rubber Keeper, and 2 whatever concern was in my mind about developing a latex/rubber sensitivity is gone because I know silicone to be inert and totally harmless in that regard. It could not surprise me if the Diva Cup really lasted longer than the Keeper which beginned to look a little shopworn after three years, though it worked just fine given the longevity of the other silicone utensils I have owned.

You’ll get your money’s worth with either product you may be able to swim, dance, do cartwheels, and enjoy non penetrative sex while you are on your period, and you will eliminate the expense and annoyance of disposable merchandise from your life. I wonder why I went through years of annoyance and irritation before I switched I just did not know any better. I’d reccommend the Diva Cup over the Keeper for anybody who is worried about developing or aggravating a latex/rubber sensitivity, and for anybody who’s to get tired of causing “squeak SQUEAK squeak squeak” to ring out in a public washroom. Just do not lose it I have never been to a physical store where they sold these, so I’d propose purchasing two and keeping one in the bathroom cabinet or something.

You have to get this,
May 24, 2006

By&nbsp, ava goyle Irvine, CA USA See all my reviews

I have been hearing my friends and women on different online groups, message boards and chat groups rave about these things for the longest time but was hesitant about ordering one for myself due to price. After one long and messy period where I has been forced to use up $5 on a tampon at a club, I broke down and ordered a Diva Cup. I wish I had done it sooner.

No longer will I have to haul around pads, tampons, and pantyliners. The initial cost of a menstrual cup is far less than what I spended per year on other merchandise and the Cup lasts a lifetime. Not to talk about that the Cup is much better for the environment and much easier to port around. Not will you must deal with brightly colored feminine merchandise in your purse or handbag. The Cup comes in a cute little floral cloth pouch that looks alike to what one may keep a cell phone or change purse inside.

Insertion and elimination was a bit difficult at 1st. I searched for the menstrual_cups community on livejournal and found better information than the ones that came with the Cup. It took me about four or five tries to get it to where it was painless and working properly and it takes many people longer, but it was so worth it.

I can not feel it at all. You may be able to do just everything but have sex Get “Insteads” if you want to do that with it in. Running, jumping, cartwheels nothing dislodged this baby. How long you leave it in depends on how heavy your flow is. The Cup holds many more than a tampon, so you only have to change it two to three times a day. You may be able to wear it overnight and for long periods of time without fear of TSS.

I just got mine a week ago and already I’m purchasing a second so I can have one for my purse and one for my bathroom.

The Diva Cup comes with a one year money back ensure so you won’t regret purchasing this!!

TMI, but if you are looking at this, you must expect TMI!,

REAL NAME
&nbsp,&nbsp,

The Instead softcup caught my eye while searching for tampons one night, so I bought many to see what they were like. I really liked the idea behind them, but I thought they were too messy, wasteful, etc. At least tampons will eventually decay in landfills. Plastic will not, so to use 5 6 plastic disks a month. I had issues with that. Plus, I have a heavy cycle, so while I do believe it is possible to use the Instead cup without making a mess, I never achieved it. I had to take a washcloth with me to the bathroom to avoid looking like I’d just violently murdered someone.

So, I did some research and discovered Diva cups. And, WOW! Since they are shaped differently than the Instead, they’re easier to use, plus I can remove mine without reenacting the Boston Massacre.

Since I do suffer from mennorghia, I can not go all day without changing it, but I have bought myself a bit more time between trips to the ladies’ room. I used to use two tampons every hour. Now, I just empty this every two hours. Lol, I am starting to feel nearly normal!

The menstrual cup is easy to use and comes with complete directions. Instead of being surprised by my period and ruining underwear, when I feel the tell tale backache, I put the cup and just check it a couple of times a day. I may really start purchasing nice underwear again!

Worth Every Penny!,

Verified PurchaseWhat’s this?

I first learned about the Diva Cup on a message board and my interest has been piqued.

At first, I thought the price was a little high. But then, I realized that if I mastered the Diva Cup, I’d more than recoup my losses in the long run by not having to buy pads or tampons ever again.

Boy am I happy I decided to go for it!

Now.. I am going to assume that everyone reading a review about the Diva Cup is a woman, since I can not imagine why in the world a man could be on this page.

So, I am going to write Truthfully, woman to woman, on my experience with this.

I was firstly worried that the cup would not work for me. I have an very heavy flow. I have had situations in which using both a pad AND a tampon super absorbent mind youstill resulted in embarassing times. And this was inside a short time after inserting/applying the before mentioned product.

Happily, I have had no problems with any leaks. But, to be on the safe side, I do wear a pad, just in case. So far, the pad’s proven to be needless. The Diva Cup has the capacity to hold FAR more than pads and tampons can.

I warn you though.. there is a learning curve to using this. And it looks that everyone has a different way to fold it, which will work best for them.

What helped me many googled Diva Cup Folding and reading the different methods that other women used.

I’m a pleased buyer :

Simply Put This Is A Product To Be Used!,
August 9, 2006

By&nbsp,M. D. Stern Yorba Linda, CA United States See all my reviews
REAL NAME

&nbsp,&nbsp,

This product is fabulous on so many levels it’s hard to know where to start. I’ll begin by stating that I used this product for nearly two years, and my only regret is that I did not start using this product much sooner than I did.

This is a medical grade silicone cup that’s put in into the vagina to contain menstrual liquid. At least twice a day, or more if flow is heavier, the cup should be removed to be emptied and re inserted. The cup may be cleaned with soap and water, and may be boiled for five ten minutes between menstrual cycles, if wanted. It really is that easy. The cup is adaptable and bends easily for insertion. Once put in, the user must turn the cup so it expands to its fullest and creates a seal. The Diva Cup does look big, but it forms itself to the inner contours of the body. If put in properly, the user shouldn’t feel the Diva Cup at all.

I used the cup in all types of situation, and have taken it on vacations! Once to Spain! I have had a couple of leaks, but that was because I didn’t make certain the cup was completely extended or because flow was heavy. And this was rare. I experienced more “accidents” with disposable merchandise. I used this product throughout light days and heavy days, throughout days and overnight, while being inactive or being active.

The pros for this product are: one cost for the Diva Cup and not many costs over time for disposable merchandise. No embarrassing applicators or paper to throw away. Nothing to worry about flushing into toilets or considering how to dispose of in sensitive regions, like nature regions. Knowledge that one won’t be adding to the landfills with “disposable” merchandise that don’t biodegrade so easily.

Some may feel many some level of discomfort about emptying the cup throughout the period, but, really doing it isn’t almost as bad as perceived. It is much cleaner than most women imagine.

I think if women tried this product they simply could not go back to anything else on the market it is that simple, economical, and private.
